Gifford dedicated the last 11 years to supporting this organization and people with developmental disabilities so they could achieve their life goals and aspirations in order to lead richer, fuller lives within their communities. Gifford joined Special Needs in 2005, and in 2014 when Special Needs became part of In Flight, Inc., he joined the In Flight family.  

 

Gifford’s family has asked that donations be made to In Flight in his name in order to fund activities for the people Gifford spent his life supporting.
